Sabrina Oliveira received her BKO (basic teaching qualification) on September 28th at the monthly Biology Borrel.
Soon after starting her position as an assistant professor (July 2016), Sabrina followed the course Teaching in Higher Education which enabled her to develop further as a teacher. In these almost 2 years, Sabrina also took up more teaching activities that enabled her to demonstrate her qualities as a teacher.
The BKO committee assessed Sabrina’s portfolio and concluded that she is an enthusiastic and motived teacher, very open to suggestions of colleagues, and that she has a good view on teaching. The course followed clearly provided Sabrina a solid background.
Sabrina was very happy to receive her diploma and highlighted that her learning experience will continue and that she hopes to contribute to our students’ learning.
